16 episodes

Omid tells his story to Felicity. Felicity tells Omid’s story to Mark, then Mark to Nabil, Nabil to Helen and Helen to Megan… each time with hilarious misrememberings, improvisations, stumbles, fumbles and laughs.

Six comedians have a funny story to tell. Can they pass the story along the chain without completely twisting the tale?

But this isn’t like the game you play at school where you only whisper short sentences. Each episode is a complete, beautifully written story, with each retelling getting funnier (and weirder!) as it passes on.

In season 2 of Please Tell Me A Story, Omid Djalili is joined by Felicity Ward, Mark Thomas, Nabil Abdulrashid, Helen Bauer, and Megan Jayne Crabbe.

It's the game where story telling goes horribly wrong…

Omid: "Hans Zimmer, Oliver Reed and Omid's Nutty tetutties"

Omid: "Hans Zimmer, Oliver Reed and Omid's Nutty tetutties"

Omid Djalili and friends are back with another season of Please Tell Me A Story, the game where storytelling goes wrong.

This time round, Omid is joined by Felicity Ward, Mark Thomas, Nabil Abdulrashid, Helen Bauer, and Megan Jayne Crabbe.

Omid takes to the big blue storytelling chair to kick off the season, and recounts a tale from the set of Gladiator - did you know he was in that film? It involves a young Hans Zimmer, an overly familiar Oliver Reed, and a very confused Omid Djalili.

As the story gets passed along, find out what made Nabil cry with laughter, who Megan mistakes Oliver Reed for, and what all of this has to do with a doner kebab from Lewisham market.

Megan Jayne Crabbe is in the big blue storytelling chair this time, taking us on a journey of seaside arcades, killer dance moves… and the dark side of the Spice Girls. It’s an episode that gives us Mark Thomas rocking out to Avril Lavigne, and Felicity Ward getting extremely passionate about 90s pop.

Helen: “When Red Nose Day went Horribly Wrong”

Helen: “When Red Nose Day went Horribly Wrong”

Omid Djalili and friends are back with another season of Please Tell Me A Story, the game where storytelling goes wrong.

This time round, Omid is joined by Felicity Ward, Mark Thomas, Nabil Abdulrashid, Helen Bauer, and Megan Jayne Crabbe.

Helen Bauer is this week’s storyteller and she transports us back to a simpler time. We’re in primary school for Red Nose Day, the fun time where everyone gets to wear red. But a toilet accident means that Helen’s day doesn’t really go to plan. And things go from bad to worse on Paper Bag Princess Day… It's a story of highs and lows, poos and wees.

Listen to hear Felicity’s dubious impression of schoolgirl Helen, Mark’s improvised jazz soundtrack, and an increasingly angry Helen when she hears what happens to her story.

    Nabil: "Babette’s Big Day Out"

Omid Djalili and friends are back with another season of Please Tell Me A Story, the game where storytelling goes wrong.

This time round, Omid is joined by Felicity Ward, Mark Thomas, Nabil Abdulrashid, Helen Bauer, and Megan Jayne Crabbe.

Nabil takes to the big blue storytelling chair! As we cross the mid-way point of the series, he tells a North Nigerian story full of wisdom, morals, and lessons... but do those morals make it to the final telling? Hmmm...

Find out how Felicity's words nearly get her into some real trouble, how Helen and Mark got inventive with their own sound effects, and how Megan added her own murderous twist to the tale.

Mark: “Fenians, kidnapping, and your mum’s big chips: The Belfast gig that goes horribly wrong”

Omid Djalili and friends are back with another season of Please Tell Me A Story, the game where storytelling goes wrong.

Mark Thomas is this week’s raconteur, and transports us back to Belfast in the late ‘80s. It’s his first time gigging in Northern Ireland, and things don't go to plan.

Nabil has "sadness in his eyes" as B*Witched go back in time and Mark goes missing (presumed kidnapped) during The Troubles.

Felicity: "My nightmare stay at Mariah Carey's summer camp"

Felicity: "My nightmare stay at Mariah Carey's summer camp"

Omid Djalili and friends are back with another season of Please Tell Me A Story, the game where storytelling goes wrong.

Felicity Ward is last to take to the big blue storytelling chair and brings season 2 to a close with a story about her time at Mariah Carey’s summer camp. A fresh-faced 19 year old Felicity chaperones some sexually-awakening teenage boys and moths plays a pivotal role in a story that may or may not include meeting Mariah herself.

Megan goes off script, Helen attempts to hit the high notes, and Mark talks of ‘flanging teens, fish and flapping moths’ in the season finale.

Obi-Wan T. ,

2nd season way better

Skip the first season! They ironed out the kinks and made it quicker, and easier to compare the funny differences in the Re-told story attempts instead of trying to include every detail each time - too boring.
The new group of comedians are better at knowing where to take liberties inserting their own details in their own style when they forget the main story. Sound effects used better, narration still amusing. The concept is still a bit of a struggle but a fun listen overall. Second season is SO MUCH BETTER!

Not a fan of the premise.
